McDermott Summer Academy

The McDermott Summer Academy is a firmwide training program designed to familiarize Summer Associates with the history, culture, practice areas and vision for McDermott’s future.  A few programs are conducted by firmwide videoconference to bring all our summer associates together.  Several presentations will take place at the Summer Associate Retreat in Washington, D.C. from July 10 – July 13.  Presentations about specific departments will be conducted locally. To supplement the McDermott Summer Academy programs, Summer Associates receive a weekly e-mail with a department and office description to help them become acquainted with each of the Firm’s eight departments, 15 offices and Strategic Alliance with MWE Shanghai.
