I was fortunate enough to work on a Supreme Court Amicus Brief on behalf of the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in support of mandating proportionality review in death penalty cases. It was so rewarding to know that my work went into such a worthy cause.  I have also been representing a domestic abuse victim trying to extend her Order of Protection against an abusive husband in Family Court.  The real-world experience has been truly one of a kind as I have been given the opportunity to help draft her Amended Petition, write discovery requests and even appear before Family Court on her behalf.
