I have truly had the summer of a lifetime!  The New York office is the place to be if you're looking for the most friendly, collegial people and the most interesting and substantive work.  The firm definitely gives a real sense of the types of cases and matters that first years are staffed on.  I worked on everything from a reply to a motion to dismiss in a contract matter to several international arbitration issues with top experts in the field to working directly with clients in a Pro Bono asylum matter.  The firm also ensured that we enjoyed our summer by sponsoring events around the city including a cooking class, a Broadway show, and a baseball game, among others.  Most importantly, although it sounds cheesy, I've made some great friends amongst the attorneys and my fellow summer associates.
