What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking to recruit graduates from any academic discipline to join McDermott's London office as trainee solicitors in March and September 2013 and March 2014. Undergraduate candidates must have reached at least the penultimate year of their law degree to be eligible to apply for a training contract with us.

We recruit both law and non-law graduates and, because we deliberately have a small number of trainees, you will receive significantly more partner access and supervision than you would at many other firms. We are looking for candidates with a strong academic background (2:1 or above), common sense and initiative, and require a minimum of three A levels at grades A, A, B or their equivalent (taken in one sitting and not including General Studies).
