Trainees

The role of a Trainee Solicitor encompasses a combination of fee-earning and non-fee-earning responsibilities.

Under the guidance of their supervisor or a Partner, the Trainee Solicitor will actively participate in client-facing work. This includes attending client meetings, drafting documents, and preparing correspondence such as letters and emails. They may also proofread legal documents and compile transaction bibles containing key documents from completed deals.

In addition to fee-earning tasks, the role involves various administrative responsibilities, such as filing, printing, and scanning documents. Trainees will also engage in training programs, attend internal firm events, and contribute to pro bono initiatives, gaining a well-rounded experience of legal practice.
