 McDermott is seeking a USPTO registered Patent Agent or Attorney with 3-5 years of experience drafting software patent applications to join our growing Intellectual Property Practice Group. An advanced degree in computer science or electrical engineering is preferred, and a bachelors degree in computer science or electrical engineering is strongly preferred.

Were open to candidates in any of our US offices.

  • 3-5 years of experience in both writing and prosecuting patent applications
  • Must be barred in the jurisdiction you wish to practice and/or Patent Bar required
  • Excellent analytical skills, writing skills, and academic record
