Job Summary:
Our Dallas office (or Los Angeles office) is seeking a staff attorney to join the transaction practice as a Technology Transactions specialist working in the areas of information technology, AI, licensing, SaaS, blockchain, crypto, digital health and outsourcing.

Job Requirements:
Experience:
- Proven record of professional excellence and achievement with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as a practicing attorney in good standing at a law firm or as an in-house transactional attorney required
- Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a wide variety of commercial contracts, service agreements and/or technology transactions (e.g., licenses, cloud agreements, master services agreements, distribution agreements, manufacturing agreements, technology development agreements, outsourcing agreement, alliance agreements)
- Demonstrated record of excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as a team member required
- Experience working effectively within a deadline-driven environment required
License/Certification:
- Member of Texas or California Bar in good standing required
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Technology background is a plus
- Experience in AI or Crypto a plus
- Positive client-service attitude
- Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills
- Exercises good judgment
- Ability to be flexible and adapt
- Ability to work effectively both within a team environment and independently
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of information

The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000 – $225,000. Actual salary is dependent on years of experience, background and billing rate.
